Newcomer Tournament

Designed for newer players

2-3 hours

Rules:
  • • Open to members < 6 months
  • • Round robin format
  • • Best of 3 games per match
  • • Handicap scoring available
Doubles Tournament
Double Elimination

Team-based tournament

Duration:
3-4 hours
Entry:
$20 per team
Rules:
  • • Teams of 2 players
  • • Double elimination bracket
  • • Best of 3 games per match
  • • Alternating shots between partners
General Rules
  • All players must be current club members
  • Tournament machines are selected by tournament director
  • No practice on tournament machines during tournament
  • Players must follow all club rules and code of conduct
  • Tournament director decisions are final
  • Cheating or unsportsmanlike conduct results in disqualification
Scoring System
  • Standard IFPA scoring: 100, 50, 25, 12, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1, 1...
  • Ties broken by total score across all games
  • Extra balls are played
  • No tilts unless machine malfunctions
  • Malfunctions handled by tournament director
